Due to a promotion, Green Bay Packaging Inc., Coated Products Operations is actively seeking a Controller.

The Coated Products Operations (CPO) consists of three manufacturing plants, 4 Slitting and Distribution Centers, and a majority interest partnership in Mexico. The CPO manufactures pressure sensitive label stock, utilizing a variety of face stock, adhesive and release liner combinations. Product capabilities include an expanded film line, as well as traditional paper, foil and thermal offerings.
The Coated Products facility in Green Bay has completed a major expansion, making this plant a state-of-the-art facility. The expansion has doubled the size of our plant, and includes a new building, coater, slitters and Automated Sequencing System.
This position will report directly to the Finance Director.
General Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the accounting group
Functional areas of accounts payable, cost accounting, payroll and invoicing will report to this position.
Oversee our sales commissions
Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, training of people and maintaining strong relationships
Coordinating the monthly closing for this division and supporting the information reported to corporate
This position is a working managers role and will prepare adjusting journal entries and various reports
Analyze and maintain standard costing of our products
Other tasks as assigned by Finance Director
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Five years of progressive accounting experience with some of this being in a supervisory role
Public accounting experience preferred
CPA preferred
Manufacturing accounting experience, which includes working with ERP systems
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and financial reporting systems
Leadership skills with the ability to develop people
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate in a highly demanding environment
