Due to an upcoming retirement, Green Bay Packaging Inc. is currently seeking a Finance Director for its Coated Products Operation.

The Coated Products Operations consists of three manufacturing plants, 4 Slitting and Distribution Centers, and a majority interest partnership in Mexico. The CPO manufactures pressure sensitive label stock, utilizing a variety of face stock, adhesive and release liner combinations. Product capabilities include an expanded film line, as well as traditional paper, foil and thermal offerings.
The Coated Products facility in Green Bay has recently completed a major expansion, making this a state-of-the-art facility. The expansion has doubled the size of this plant, and includes a new building, Coater, Slitters and Automated Sequencing System.
The Finance Director will be responsible for managing and directing both the Accounting and IT functions for this business unit, along with supporting the leadership team in strategic decision making. This Green Bay based position reports to the Senior Vice President of CPO and is a key position in on the leadership team at this operation.
Give direction and support for the functional management team consisting of sales, operations and technical as they relate to financial objectives
Analyze and recommend pricing strategies for products sold.
Financial forecasting and analysis along with recommending cost savings or profit optimization
Oversee and direct the IT/Systems area of this operation
Management of all areas of accounting including general, cost, financials
A general understanding of tax laws and regulations
Develop and administer incentive plans related to this business unit
Manage the monthly financial closing process and analysis, along with supporting our corporate tax and accounting needs.
Financial support of our partnership interest in Mexico
Implementation of systems for acquisitions, new facilities and overall company changes
Financial analysis of business acquisitions, capital improvements and overall investments for this business unit.
Communication of financial information to this operations management
Drive growth through data driven analysis for all business functions
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and a CPA or equivalent certification; an MBA is preferred.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills are required.
Must be efficient and professional in pressurized situations and in dealing with all areas of the organization
At least 10 years of previous experience in an accounting or finance management position that oversees various functions.
Past manufacturing and operational experience is preferred.
Working in a multi plant setting would be desired
Commercial and financial experience in a business to business environment
