SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage tax accounting staff including delegation of work, training, and supervision
Answer questions of staff and others in the office
Review individual, business, trust and non-profit tax returns
Coordinate the quarterly tax and year-end tax planning with the client and staff
Communicate client issues with the engagement partner
Develop and maintain Client contact at the executive level
Marketing to new clients
Service current clients as their trusted adviser
Prepare responses to correspondence from taxing authorities
Perform and direct to the staff tax research
Act as the contact person for IRS and other audits
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing to new clients
Manage tax staff
Stay current on technical issues
Communicate tax changes to staff and partners
Accounting or equivalent degree
7+ years of public accounting experience
Working knowledge of tax and accounting software
