Controller

Our client, Great Lakes TV Seal, Inc., a well-established and quality pipeline contractor in Green Bay, WI is seeking an experienced and ambitious Controller.   The successful candidate will perform a wide array of accounting and management functions while interacting with coworkers daily.  The controller has oversight of the day-to-day operations of the accounting, human resources, and IT areas and provides accurate, timely and understandable financial information and analysis.  Responsibilities include office management duties and handling of confidential material.   This opportunity offers a competitive salary and benefit package while working with a truly great team in a growing company.

• Strong leadership skills
• Proven process improvement experience

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting – CPA a plus
• 3+ years accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continue to develop and maintain the company’s accounting systems and financial reporting
• Assist with strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Produce monthly financial statements
• Prepare job costings
• Prepare sales and use tax reports
• Manage company benefits and 401k administration
• Oversee vendor relationships
• Prepare company invoices
• Payroll
• Play key role with computer and internet needs of the company
• General office administration
• Help improve operational efficiency and aid in company’s continued growth
• Other projects as needed to help develop and shape the future of the business
