Overview: Motor Specialty, Inc., a longstanding manufacturer of fractional horsepower electric motors, is seeking a seasoned CPA to join our leadership team in a part-time capacity. This role is perfect for a retired or semi-retired CPA who desires a flexible schedule and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully without the demands of full-time work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes.
• Provide expertise in job costing, inventory control, and cost accounting.
• Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy development.
• Assist in transitioning from external accounting services to in-house systems (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support audit preparations.
